Recording a consult

Recording is the one thing you do every visit, so it is built to be effortless.

What it does

Captures the whole visit in one file and keeps your phone awake so it never sleeps mid-consult.

Three recording modes

• Consult - a live in-person conversation with the owner. VetAI separates who said what.
• Solo - you speaking alone after the visit (single speaker), for dictation.
• Phone - a telehealth call. VetAI knows there was no physical exam, so it keeps the Objective to what the owner reported and adds clear safety-netting.

How to use it

• Tap the orb to start, talk normally, and tap Finish when done.
• Tap Pause any time - your audio is never lost, even if you close the screen.
• A single recording is capped at 15 minutes and finishes automatically then (your audio is saved). Set a shorter auto-finish in Settings under Recording & privacy.

Add more audio

On a finished note, tap Record more to add another clip. The note regenerates from everything recorded together.

Multiple pets

Open Patient details before recording to add more than one animal. VetAI attributes each finding, dose and plan to the right pet by name and also produces a separate note per pet.
